Depression, wanting to fit in, and stress are the top 3 i think, bullying should be there too. Drugs Alcohol and Sex are more in with the older teen population. Separated home/ parents going through a divorce isn't that big i don't think, not in the top 10 anyway. But stress and depression are really up their. Going through puberty teens suffer from sometimes stress or depression because of either how school is going or how your personal life is going. For communities to help kids with a lot of stress and anxiety teachers should cut down on homework. Over the past 50 years, depression has become more common and is now recognized at increasingly younger ages. As the rate of depression rises, so does the teen suicide rate. Mental health professionals advise parents to be aware of signs of depression in their children.
